In nature
RA'ANANA, Israel (April 20, 2011)-- Amnon Yosting has been taking care of a 150-year-old bonsai tree for the last 25 years. Yosting usually meditates in front of his trees until he connects with the spirit of the tree. He says that every tree has a personality and energy, which he strives to connect to. "You sit and the vision emerges," he said.

Between flights
Paris-- April 16, 2011
Had a few hours to walk around in Paris on my way to Israel.
School is done, and I finished my three-week internship with the Ottawa Citizen. I am spending the next few weeks in Israel before returning to Canada for a formal graduation from Loyalist College, a dear friend's much anticipated wedding, and whatever other opportunities arise.
Life is exciting.
Photos from Israel will be added soon!

Sand Point Flood
ARNPRIOR, ONT., APRIL 11, 2011-- Sand Point resident, Steve Anderson, explains how the rainstorm which hit the Ottawa Region Monday morning has turned the normally quiet stream by his house into a heavier flowing stream causing more corrosion to the ground beneath an unused railway which lies between the main road and his house on the river. Anderson is concerned that the flooding will become worse and for the second time since a rainstorm hit the area in July 2009, he will have to evacuate his home in order to make repairs for further possible infrastructure damages.
